In separate remarks, the Muslim leaders praised the effort of the Arafa Hajj and Umrah Agency, and urged the agency to create a favorable environment for aspiring hajj and umrah pilgrims. They accorded that the problem pilgrims faced in traveling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is in no way created by the Government of Liberia (GOL); instead, Muslims themselves who are the heads of the hajj program in Liberia.
They hoped that the 2024 hajj season will see more Liberians given the opportunity to perform the hajj, as is with the case of other countries in the sub-region.
