Former Representative-candidate, Armah V. Boakai, has called on citizens of the county to reunite and put the developmental agenda of their beloved county above personal interest.

Former Representative-Candidate in the just-ended 2023 presidential and legislative elections, Boakai told the citizens of Bomi County that the election has come and gone, and that now is the time for them to put behind all election matters and work together for the common good of their beloved county and country at large.

During his appreciation tour in Bomi County, he made the statement when he appeared on Radio Bomi.

Boakai called on the citizens to reject all forms of political violence that may have the propensity to undermine the growth and development of the county.

He added that the citizens should not allow any politician to bring division amongst them, but cautioned that peace should be the paramount concern of every Liberian.

The former Representative-Candidate also welcomed the election of individuals who won their seats as their new group of individuals who will steer the affairs of the county for the next six years.

He stated that the election of these individuals in the October 10, 2023 election and November 14 run-off reflects the true will of the people, and cautioned those who are threatening to go to court or they are wasting their time.

Meanwhile, former Representative-Candidate Boakai has also called on his citizens not to support any court process from the election.

He lauded the citizens of the county for their support to him during the election, and reaffirmed his commitment to working in the interest of every Bomi citizen.

He also appreciated all of his poll workers for the hard work during the elections and promised to put smiles on their faces as soon as possible.
