Veteran educator and renowned politician, Momo B. Kamara, says his ambition to serve his people as their representative come the 2023 election is predicated upon the fact that the people of district#4, Montserrado County, have always giving him their support to contest.

According to him, in 2011 he was petition by his people to contest in the election, in which he came third place. In 2017, after being petitioned again by the people of district #4, he came second place, and he said that the people have told him that they are supporting his ambition for the House of Representatives come 2023.

Aspirant Kamara, who has been providing scholarships and empowerment initiatives for dwellers of district#4, noted that the main reason behind his ambition is to help create better educational laws and help lobby with his colleagues to implement them in the interest of the country.

He said his focus is upgrading the educational sector of Liberia, maintaining that the sector needs more attention in order to serve its purpose.

The Liberian educator said, at the Legislature, his leadership will provide more programs to incorporate people within the district in order to solve the day-to-day challenges confronting the people.

Kamara, who has served the educational sector for over thirty-nine (39) years in various capacities, said he comes to the race with vast experience in leadership.

He, at the same time, applauded the government for steps taken to address some of the challenges confronting the country’s educational sector.
