The Chief Executive Officer of the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies, Elton Johns, has commended President Joseph Nyuma Boakai and his government for major road construction and rehabilitation across the country.

Johns stated that President Boakai’s development initiatives to transform the growth and development of every sector is encouraging in terms of moving the nation forward.

The Bukonjadeh boss made the commendation Wednesday in Monrovia as government undertakes road rehabilitation projects in the southeastern region and across Montserrado County.

According to him, the Ministry of Public Works under the stewardship of Minister Roland Giddings and his team are carrying out President Boakai’s mandate to the letter.

He noted that President Boakai’s administration is helping to transform the image of Liberia on the global stage as well as improve the socio-economic development of the country.

Johns underscored that Liberians should exercise restraint as the government is doing everything possible to standardize the living condition of the people, adding that the government is heading in the right direction to change the narrative of Liberia’s development.

He urged the Minister of Public Works to remain focused in doing his work on road connectivity in Monrovia and its environs.

He explained that the critics of the government should think first before they come out with criticism of the government, noting that their criticisms are not the reality on the ground.

Johns emphasized that the Boakai government is working hard to transform the development of Liberia and its people, rather than what was happening in the past government.
