The Citizens Action Committee (CAC) on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 certificated the CEO of Bukonjadeh Group of Companies as its 2022 Outstanding Company of the Year.
The revered Citizens Action Committee honored the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies as the most outstanding company of 2022 for its significant contributions towards the growth and development of the Liberian society.
Speaking at the honoring ceremony, the Executive Director of the Citizens Action Committee of Liberia (CAC), Prince Sackie Grandoe, said the award was in recognition of the company’s numerous contributions to the country and uplifting Liberians through the provision of micro-loan.
He said the company’s contribution to buttressing government’s pro-poor agenda through human capacity building is rewarding and outstanding.
Grandoe explained that CAC is a conglomeration of civil society institutions operating in the country, and “provides alternative view to national issues, as well as advocates for the betterment of the Liberian society. Our major role is to ensure that the government of the day works assiduously in the interest of the people and also checkmate the workings of the private sector to the benefit of its workers”.
Receiving the certificate of honor, the Chief Executive Officer of Bukonjadeh Group of Companies, Elton Johns, said the peace of the country lies in the hands of every citizens.
“We are overwhelmed by the reception presented to us by CAC, rating us as the outstanding microloan company of the year,” he said.
