Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) lawmakers,  Acarous M. Gray and Frank Saah Foko, have allegedly threatened to flog Representative Yekeh Y. Kolubah the next time he abuses President Weah in plenary.

Representative Kolubah, speaking in session, said that he submitted a communication to Speaker Chambers since 2021 to be discussed in plenary for proper action, but since last year to today’s date Speaker Chambers has played deaf ears to it.

The Montserrado County district #10 Representative asserted that he wrote the plenary of the House of Representatives last year for the National Legislature to be audited, but Speaker Chambers swept it under the carpet.

While expressing his dissatisfaction in session, Representative Kolubah was heard using profanity on the Head of State of the Republic of Liberia, President George Manneh Weah.

The Montserrado County district #10 lawmaker said anytime they are in session and a CDC lawmaker says anything that he does not like, he will insult the presidency.

For his part in plenary, Montserrado County’s district #9 Representative, Frank Saa Foko, stated that if Representative Kolubah continues to disrespect the presidency he will disrespect Representative Kolubah. “This man that old killer. The people he killed during the war can be disturbing him, that’s why he can be acting rude on our President,” Representative Foko added.

Responding to Representative Kolubah, Representative Gray noted that, as of February 3 and moving forward, anytime, during session, Representative Kolubah insults the presidency he will be flogged.

“The very next time you insult the President again in session we will flog you. Enough is enough. We have tolerated you for the past four years and we can no longer accept your constant disrespect to the presidency,” Representative Gray pointed out.

Meanwhile, Representative Kolubah was thrown out of session for not dressing properly. The Montserrado County district #10 lawmaker was seen wearing a white shirt, sneakers and a coat.
