The Children Village Academy, Goba-Chop Community, Paynesville, will observe its 2nd Gala Anniversary at the end of March 2022.

The proprietress, Esther Jallah Stewart, said all necessary preparations have been made to observe the anniversary for the children.

According to the proprietress, she has passion for education, and has been in the field for over ten years. She said she decided to establish a school to bring children together, especially the ones on the streets and whose parents cannot afford to send them to school, disclosing that she has over twenty five (25) students on scholarship. According to her, Children Village Academy is not only limited to Montserrado County, as there is a plan to expand the school’s branches in other parts of Liberia to help other children.

One of the teachers who spoke to the Hot Pepper reporter, Joshua A. Betteh, said this time around the 2nd anniversary will include football, kickball, quizzing, volley ball, African costume, king & queen contest, color house, among others. He noted that the school has invited Feed My People from Bardnersville for the football match.
