Several mosques in district #3, Montserrado County, received assorted food donation from the office of Counselor Kuku Younger Dorbor, an aspirant of the district. The donation, according to her, is a normal routine done each year during the Ramadan in Liberia.

On Thursday, April 20, 2023 Cllr. Dorbor and her team walked to the Neezoe mosque and donated several bags of rice and gallons of cooking oil. The team also visited the mosque in Pipeline and donated bags of rice and gallons of cooking oil.

Counselor Dorbor and her team provided a similar ration to Redlight’s central mosque and the Coco-Cola Factory mosque.

According to the district#3 representative aspirant, the donation was meant to identify with her Muslim brothers and sisters during their time of fasting.

Imams at the various mosques in the district praised Counselor Dorbor for her contributions towards the Muslim community within the district. They described the donation as timely, noting that it has fill in the gaps.

The imams expressed thanks and appreciation to the aspirant, as they were in a joyous mood while receiving the donated food items.

Counselor Dorbor is a former Representative of the district during the administration of former President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.

Speaking to the Hot Pepper after the donation, Counselor Dorbor noted that her coming back into the race is not because of money but the level of poor representation the district is faced with at the National Legislature.
