The Political Leader of the Alternative National Congress (ANC), Alexander B. Cummings, has departed Liberia for the United States to attend the ANC-USA Convention, scheduled to take place from October 24–26, 2025.
The convention will bring together ANC members and supporters from across the U.S to discuss the party’s strategic direction, review progress, and strengthen collaboration between the U.S and Liberia.
While in the United States, Cummings is expected to hold a series of high-level meetings with partners and stakeholders aimed at bolstering support for the ANC’s vision of a better, more prosperous Liberia.
Cummings expressed optimism about the upcoming engagements, noting that the convention presents a vital opportunity to reaffirm the ANC’s commitment to democratic values, good governance, and sustainable national development.
He is expected to return to the country following the conclusion of his official engagements.
