Montserrado County’s electoral district #8 aspirant, Isaac Krah, has received honors from several women groups for carrying out extensive humanitarian activities in the district.

The honors were bestowed on the humanitarian at separate occasions to appreciate him for his immense contribution to the development of the district.

At one of the ceremonies organized by the women of Bloc B, 12th Street, last Sunday, Isaac Krah said he was overwhelmed by the wave of honors he continued to receive from beneficiaries of his humanitarian work.

He assured the women of his readiness to continue with the task of giving support and opportunities to residents, not only in the area of relief but in building their capacities as well.

The aspirant lauded the women for the recognition, and vowed not to relent until the lives of residents in all of the twenty-two communities of the district are improved.

Earlier, Block B Women Chairperson, Esther Neville, described Krah’s humanitarian ventures in their community as laudable and welcoming.

Neville recalled that, when the Block was virtually abandoned at the height of COVID-19, it was Isaac Krah who drove in with a pickup load of antivirus materials to save the lives of residents.

She explained that the items, including sanitizers, soaps, buckets and nose masks, were channeled to the community through the Isaac Krah Foundation.

Neville also disclosed that the Krah Foundation immensely contributed to the development of the community in other ways, to include the construction of toilets and the provision of zinc to residents.

In his address to the women at the ceremony, the guest speaker, Ismael Binda, urged them to hold together in their advocacy for gender equity.

Binda noted that without unity among women the prospect of gaining absolute freedom will remain bleak.
