The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies, Elton Johns, has urged Liberian businesses to maintain integrity to advance their business ventures in the country.

Johns noted that the lack of integrity in business transaction undermines the potential for Liberian businesses to excel at the higher level in the business community.

The Bukonjadeh boss made the assertion over the weekend when he was honored as the Humanitarian of the Year 2024 by the National Mirror.

According to him, Liberians should be determined to do business with honesty for their customers to build confidence in them and their businesses. He maintained that honesty and integrity pay in developing business ventures in any country, and Liberia is not an exception.

Johns indicated that, by the special grace of God his company has strived to maintain integrity in all its transactions with customers and other financial institutions in the country.

He pointed out that since the company was founded at the University of Liberia’s Campus, they have been humble and do not allow the spirit of pride and arrogance to take over them as the company advances to other levels of achievement.

He reiterated his call for other Liberian businesses to emulate the good example of Bukonjadeh in fostering their businesses to advance in the business community.

He boasted that the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies is one of the Liberian businesses that have stood tall among businesses established over the years in Liberia and continue to make impact in the microfinance sector.

Meanwhile, the Counselor of the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies, Cllr. James Nippy, has called on Liberians to emulate the good example of Bukonjadeh to change the narrative of doing business in Liberia.

Cllr. Nippy noted that Bukonjadeh has stood the test of time and hopes that other Liberian businesses will be motivated.

He then urged journalists to maintain integrity in their reportage to ensure that Liberians are receiving balanced reports of things happening around the nation.
