LCAA Announces Aviation Awareness Week
The Director General of the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority (LCAA), Julius D. Dennis, has announced an Aviation Awareness Week, taking place from May 5 to May 9, 2025.
Speaking during the Ministry of Information regular press briefing on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 Director General Dennis highlighted the importance of aviation in Liberia and beyond, stating that the LCAA has a fantastic lineup of activities planned to engage the public, educate students, and connect with industry professionals.
According to him, throughout the week there will be informative sessions to learn about the vital role of the LCAA in ensuring safe and efficient air travel. He also highlighted the prospect of discovering career opportunities within the aviation sector.
DG Dennis disclosed that the activities will include interactive workshops designed to provide insights into various aspects of aviation; school outreach programs to inspire the next generation of aviation enthusiasts and professionals; public awareness campaigns aimed at increasing understanding of aviation safety and regulations; and industry engagement for stakeholders to connect, share knowledge, and discuss the future of aviation in Liberia.
Director General Dennis said this is a fantastic opportunity for everyone, from aviation enthusiasts to the simply curious, to learn more about the fascinating world of flight and the crucial work of the LCAA.
