Several officers from the Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA) have received certificates of achievement from the medical team of the Africa Union Trading Company (AUTC) Incorporated in the country.

Thirty officers of the LDEA participated in four days of intensive training in substance abuse and recognition prevention at the headquarters of the LDEA in Sinkor.

The just-ended training focused on international best practices when it comes to caring for victims, the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights, drug-testing protocol, the Judiciary system and the prosecution of drug traffickers and distributors.

The recent training also focused on the identification  and testing mechanism for illegal substances like kush, marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, heroin, benzodiazepines, ecstasy, opioids, among others.

Africa Union Trading Company (AUTC) has been around now for some time, providing the necessary support to the government and people of Liberia since it came into being.

AUTC is into health service delivery, agriculture, education, security, among others, in Liberia and other parts of the world.

AUTC Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Eric Twum, has reiterated his company’s commitment to addressing issues confronting the forward march of the government and people of Liberia.
