The Director of Passport at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Joseph W. Mendin, has been extoled for his professional and excellent work at the ministry.
In an interview with some Liberians who had gone to get their passport at the ministry on Monday, December 18, 2023, they lauded the director for the good system he has put in place since he took over the department.
According to them, Director Mendin has ensured an effective and efficient management of the Division ofPassports and Visas in order to provide quality services to the Liberian people and the detection and prevention of fraud in obtaining Liberian passports and visas.
They stated that the director of passport came to the position with passion and lots of experience to serve the Liberian people.
They added that Director Mendin is best suited and up to the task for the job.
At the same time, they used the medium to encourage the director of passport to keep on with the good work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Liberian people.
Director Mendin comes to the position with immense worth of experience, previously serving in several capacities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Diplomatic V.I.P Security Agent, Division of Security Computer Operation, Bureau of Passports and Visas Data Clerk Bureau of Passport, and Deputy Director of Passports and Visas.
He holds bachelor of arts degree in sociology with Minor in Public Administration from the University of Liberia (UL), graduate diploma in international Relations, Gabriel L. Dennis Foreign Service Institute, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a certificate in computer science.
