The administration of the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS), headed by Colonel Stephen Zargo, has embarked on major appointments and reshuffle.

According to information gathered, several experienced and qualified officers of the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) have been appointed and reshuffled as directors, chiefs, and deputy chiefs.

Speaking with the leadership, the Hot Pepper was informed that the intention of the appointments and reshuffle is not to go after any officer.

“In security, when one serves for a period of time it’s very necessary to promote and rotate officers, to serve as a motivation on the job,” the LIS leadership told the HotPepper.

Zargo and his competent deputies are challenged to provide transformation within the LIS due to the expectation of LIS officers.
