LNP Arrests Alleged Murderer In Johnsonville

The Liberia National Police (LNP) says it has arrested a 22-year-old man, Melvin Bagbo, a resident of Palm Field community, Johnsonville Township, for allegedly killing a 25-year-old man, Theophilus Dakun.

   On June 19, 2022 at about 2:00 a.m., the lifeless body of Dakun was discovered in the room of a female, identified as Patricia, and believed to have been stabbed with an instrument, believed to be a knife.

   Suspect Bargbo will be duly investigated, charged and forwarded to court to face the full weight of the law.

   In a related development, the LNP has, with immediate effect, launched a full-scale investigation into another incident where the lifeless body of a 24-year-old man, Mark Johnson, was also discovered on the road in the Lee Hill community, Johnsonville. The alleged victim was discovered with a cut in his mouth.

   Meanwhile, the body of the late Mark Johnson has been turned over to the family for burial.
