–As President Boakai Dedicates Police Vehicles

The Inspector General of the Liberia National Police (LNP), Col. Gregory Coleman, has assured Liberians and foreign investors of safety and security. He said his confidence comes from the support he and his team are receiving from the President of the Republic of Liberia, H.E President Joseph N. Boakai.

Speaking Friday at the official commissioning ceremony of twenty vehicles, IGP Gregory Coleman said the donation of the police vehicles was basically turning words into deeds and promises becoming reality.

The Police IG thanked President Joseph Boakai for negotiating with partners for the vehicles, which he said would greatly enhance the work of the Liberia National Police (LNP) in responding to crime and protecting the citizens and other nationals.

According to IGP Coleman, the President making the case for the rule of law signifies that he has made gains in achieving one of the Rs in the ARREST agenda.

He stated that it will help the LNP restore trust, legitimacy and upholding the rule of law. “It is cardinal in the nation’s history and is important at this time,  and it cannot happen without the support from people like Ibrahim Mahamah,” he stated.

Col. Coleman assured Liberians that the Liberia National Police (LNP) under his leadership will build the trust that will make citizens and foreign investors to live in a free and safe environment.
