The Liberia People Democratic Party (LPDP), a constituent party of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), has launched a community engagement campaign in the 17 electoral districts of Montserrado County.

According to the Chairman of LPDP, D. Wa Hne, President George Manneh Weah is the only option now to move Liberia forward, and that he has been successful in improving the development landscape of Liberia.

The LPDP Chairman made the assertion over the weekend when the party held a community engagement campaign in ten of the electoral districts of Montserrado County for the re-election of President Weah in Tarr Town, Congo Town.

According to him, the re-election of President Weah for the next six years will ensure that the government creates a middle-income status in the economy, as opposed to the situation of only rich and poor.

He technically described the first six years of President Weah as three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which he said affected the entire world for three years. “But the government was able to handle the situation successfully,” he said.

Chairman Hne argued that past administrations concentrated on infrastructure development, such as road connectivity which, according him, has created economical gains for the people. He noted that the Weah administration has surprised the international community and the Liberian people for the level of achievements so far.

He asserted that the community engagement campaign is intended to create awareness among voters to know how to vote for the re-election of President Weah on October 10, 2023.

Chairman Hne emphasized that there is no competitor in the race to challenge President Weah, so CDC supporters should be encouraged to go into the communities to inform Liberians about the re-election of the Liberian leader.
