The Liberia Restoration Party (LRP) has vowed to use the vehicle of politics to return Liberia to God, saying the country was established on the fundamental pilar of faith.

The Standard Bearer of the Liberia Restoration Party (LRP), Allen Roosevelt Brown, Jr., made the statement over  the weekend during a media engagement at the operational headquarters of the party on 14th Street.

“We are a movement and our movement is to restore the nation back to God. I am so happy that the vehicle that we are using is politics,” he maintained.

The LRP political leader pinpointed that the party is a faith-based movement and with that it opens the door for people of other faiths, as the choice before the party is inclusion and coexistence.

According to him, they are encouraged by people from other faiths reaching to them. He disclosed that constructive talks are ongoing and the party remains very defined and open.

At the same time, the newly elected standard bearer of the Liberia Restoration Party, among plans to improving the lives of the Liberian people, revealed that they will develop the country and ensure the constant supply of basic social services.

Businessman Allan Brown noted that the first plan, if he succeeds in the 2023 presidential elections, is to ensure that Liberia becomes the breadbasket not only to feed its people but also exports to other countries in the world.

He emphasized, “We believe in justice, fairness and compassion, and believe that the just part is to make sure that we have competent judges in place. The next component of that is to make sure that judges have integrity.

“Our goal is to ensure that our health system is on par with developed nations,” he added.

Touching on the Farmington River Declaration, he termed it a step forward in Liberia, underscoring that the people of Liberia want a violence-free, fair and transparent election, as it is the way to maintain the peace of the country

“We are going to educate our people to make sure that they understand what the Farmington Agreement is all about. We believe that we are very prepared to get our message out,” he declared.

“We have a strategy in terms of how we expect to do it, and we do believe that our message will reach to voters throughout the length and birth of this nation.”

Also Speaking during the media engagement, Gabriel Salee, National Chairman of the Liberia Restoration Party, enjoined his Political Leader to restore the nation to a country of faith.

He said, “We are a movement and we have the mandate to return the country to God. We will not rest, neither get tired, until we achieve that mandate. We are happy that we have a selfless visionary who believes that the people of Liberia deserves better; therefore, we are prepared to align with people who buy into our vision and have like-mind of the kind of Liberia we envision.”
