“My Fitness Life” Group of the One UN Fitness Gym over the weekend donated assorted food items, toiletries and detergents to the  Rock of Devine Orphanage in Paynesville. The donation, valued over US$1,000, was the group’s way of identifying with the needy during this Christmas holiday.

The Rock of Devine Orphanage is the home of over 75 orphans and abandoned children.

Making the formal presentation of the items and a cash amount of L$60,000, the Chairman of “My fitness Life” group’s 2022 Christmas Outreach Committee, Cllr. Prince Kruah, said the donation was his group’s way of reaching out to the needy and ensuring that meal is on the table for the children during these festive seasons.

He said members of the “My fitness Life” group who voluntarily contributed their resources to the outreach are optimistic that the donation will be used for the benefit of the orphans and abandoned children.

Referencing the biblical quotation, “Little is much when God is in it”, Chairman Kruah said the group will continue to extend similar assistance to other institutions and individuals in need.

Responding, the Director and Founder of the Rock of Devine Orphanage, Reverend Mother Fatu Smith, thanked the group for the donation and assured that the items and cash will go a long way in easing the needs of the children at the orphanage.

Rev. Mot. Smith used the occasion to invoke God’s divine blessings on members of the group, saying, “God Almighty shall reward all of you. You will not lack and God will multiply and replenish you all.”

Saturday’s outreach activity was led by the Senior Fitness Trainer of the One UN Fitness Gym, William Morris, alias Bill, who later offered a powerful prayer for the children  at the orphanage at the close of the donation.
