The National Elections Commission (NEC) says it will host its first engagement with aspirants for the 2023 general and presidential elections on Friday, July 21, 2023.
According to a NEC statement issued on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, independent aspirants will be afforded the opportunity to also sign the historic Farmington River Declaration, committing themselves to a non-violent 2023 general and presidential elections at the forum.
It can be recalled that on April 4, 2023 coalitions and alliances assembled at the Farmington Hotel, Margibi County, and signed the historic Farmington River Declaration, committing themselves to a peaceful and non-violent 2023 elections.
