On April 2, 2026, a high-level meeting was convened between the delegation from the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) and the Director-General of the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP) at NASSCORP’s Corporate Headquarters in Sinkor.
The meeting underscored a mutual commitment to strengthening Liberia’s health security and social protection frameworks through strategic collaboration.
Key highlights from the meeting include a Shared Vision for Health and Social Security: both parties reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing the integration of health security measures with social security systems to better serve the Liberian population; and collaboration in public health investments: diagnostic and quality health services.
Both institutions expressed commitment to maintaining open communication channels and working collaboratively to address emerging public health and social welfare challenges.
