It is with saddened hearts and deep sorrow that we, the bereaved family, regrettably announce the passing of our father, uncle, brother, and leader, Hon. Solomon Claudius George, Former Representative District #7, Montserrado County. This sad event occurred on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Wellness Partners Medical Clinic, Old Congo Town, Monrovia. He died at the age of 70.
His remains has been deposited at Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Home, 26th Street, Sinkor, Tubman Boulevard, Monrovia, Liberia.
A dedicated and patriotic public servant who served with distinction and as a remarkable statesman whose contributions to his constituents and nation were extraordinary. His legacy will forever be remembered in our hearts. Hon. George will deeply be missed.
He is survived by six (6) children and several other children through his humanitarian and philanthropic nature across Liberia.
The first general family meeting will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at his residence on Robert Street, Snapper Hill Community, adjacent the Snapper Hill Clinic by 4:00 p.m. prompt.
