The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, has sent a condolence message to His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, following the tragic death of seven persons and injury of at least twenty-three (23) due to the collapse of a Mosque in the city of Zaria, Kaduna State, Federal Republic of Nigeria on Friday, August 11, 2023.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, President George Manneh Weah, on behalf of the government and people of Liberia, and in his own name, extended heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and in particular, the bereaved family for the irreparable loss.
The Liberian Leader then prayed and hoped that the Almighty Allah will grant His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the resilient people of Nigeria comfort and strength during this difficult period of national mourning, and wished the injured people a speedy recovery.
