Pres. Weah Consoles U.S. On The Death Of Former Secretary Of State Colin Powell
The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Dr. George Manneh Weah, has sent a message of Condolence to the Government and People of the United States on the death of Colin Powell, former Chiefs Chairman and Secretary of State of the United States of America.
In the massage to His Excellency, Joseph R. Biden, President of the United States of America, President Weah noted with shock and great sadness of the news of the death of Colin Powell, as a result of COVID-19 complications of the former Chiefs Chairman and Secretary of State’s of the United States of America on behalf the government and people of Liberia and in his own name.
President Weah noted that during this difficult period of grief, he extend to his Excellency, Joseph R. Biden, through him to the government and people of the United States of America, especially the bereaved families, his heartfelt condolences for the tragic loss sustained, and prayed that the Almighty God will grant consolation to the United States as it endures this difficult period of mourning.
