President George Manneh Weah has congratulated Her Excellency Mrs. Droupadi Mumu on her election as President of the Republic of India.
In the message to his Indian counterpart, President Weah extended warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Indian leader and the friendly people of India.
He added that President Droupadi Mumu’s victory signifies the trust and confidence that the people of India have in her ability to serve as Head of State of the Republic of India.
The Liberian President then expressed confidence that the two countries will nurture new frontiers in their already existing bilateral ties, and continues to promote peace and security in keeping with the principles of the United Nations (UN) and other international organizations.
President George Weah also prayed that the Almighty God showers President Droupadi Mumu’s personal wellbeing with plentiful blessings in the midst of the global pandemic, as well as peace and prosperity for the people of India.
