Montserrado County’s district #4 Representative, Michael M. Thomas, has provided freedom of night movement by electrifying the demarcation between Du-Port Road community and Soul Clinic community.
“We thank Representative Thomas for the street lights’ presence here. We will see clearly in the night and will not be harassed by criminals anymore in the night,” grateful residents of both communities lauded Representative Thomas.
In 2024, Representative Thomas electrified the same demarcation with solar lights which provided smooth movement for passers-by from Du-Port Road Community and Soul Clinic Community, but alleged criminals stole the lights and poles.
The demarcation, which passers-by feared to walk through in the night hours due to the influx of street thugs, is now accessible anytime by residents of both communities.
However, several residents noted that Representative Thomas is impregnated with development agenda for the district’s well-being, noting that gradually the district will benefit from it.
“When you are coming from Du-Port Road, you see across the border area to Soul Clinic; likewise coming from Soul Clinic,” some youths and motorbike washers said.
Representative Thomas has revealed that he will transform district #4, but it will be done gradually.
