Representative Sampson Quajue Wiah of Sinoe County’s district #2 has undertaken a 15-kilometer road pavement from Seeton Newtown to Nyoung-Point in his district for the smooth movement of the electorate.
The 15-kilometer road is in fulfilment of some of the promises the lawmaker made during the presidential and legislative elections in 2023.
To connect electoral district #2 with roads, Representative Wiah has purchased a yellow machine, front hand loader, which is connecting towns and villages from the main road in Seeton Newtown to Juaryen, Touh, Tawou, Nyoung-Point and Neegbee along the sea coast of Sinoe County.
Addressing score of citizens in Seeton Juaryen on February 24, 2026, Representative Wiah re-committed himself to ensuring that all roads within the three statutory districts are connected for the inhabitants to access free movement and reduced transportation cost, have access to safe healthcare delivery, and free access to market vendors.
He further said that there are 90 drums of petroleum storage for the re-opening and construction of feeder roads in Jedepo and Jeadae statutory districts, as they begin with Dugbeh Statutory District.
The inspection and monitoring process of the road was attended by the district’s local leadership of “Team Weah” and the general public.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Patrick J. Doe, in special remarks lauded Representative Wiah for the self-initiative project in the district and encouraged others to do the same.
For continued development, Representatives Sampson Wiah has broken ground for the construction of a multi-purpose Resource Center in Sarbor County Chiefdom in Kwatartuzon electoral district #2, which will be named in honor of a 105-year-old Paramount Chief, John Weagbah, with the name, “PC Weagbah Resources Centre”.
For the pending center, Representative Wiah said it will comprise of pastry, weaving, tailoring, computer skills, driving and women employment programs to make residents of the district marketable for the job market.
With enthusiasm and appreciation, PC Weagbah and citizens of Kwatartuzon provided provided a huge parcel of land for the construction of the Chief-Weagbah Multipurpose Resource Center in the district.
