River Gee County Representative, Isaac Wuo, appears to be making tremendous efforts in building the capacities of his citizens in the face of the growing poverty and economic collapse that threatens the entire country.

With barely two years in office, the lawmaker has made significant impact on education, health, and agriculture through donations to these sectors.

The latest groups to benefit are farmers who were recently provided cutlasses and other farming implements to increase food and cash crop production in the county.

A similar gesture was extended to the educational sector when he donated fifteen motorbikes to students to engage in commercial cycling to support their education.

Last year the lawmaker underwrote the cost of education for at least six thousand students across twenty-two public schools within his district, reducing the burden on their poor parents as part of his administration’s support for education.

At the same time, health authorities in River Gee County have begun the distributions of one hundred electronic hospital beds that were donated recently by River Gee district #2 Representative to strengthen health-care delivery in the county, where hospitals are facing difficulties in providing the health needs of the people due to inadequate government support.

The beds were delivered during the just-ended legislative break that took the lawmaker and entourage on the tour of his district to inspect government’s projects, in line with his oversight responsibility.

While in the County for the break, Representative Wuo also broke ground for the construction of a market hall in the county’s capital, Fish Town, to take local marketers from the streets.

The move has placed the lawmaker on record for responsible leadership and one of the highest benefactor of the citizens, hence the title “Talk N Do of River Gee County”.

Representative Wuo told reporters recently that the effort is part of his responsibilities as representative of the people, and not necessarily for political gain.

He vowed not to rest until the promises made during his electoral campaign are fulfilled.
