Reservoir Community Election Candidate Vows To Continue Development Spree
The candidate in the Reservoir community election on the Reservoir People United Party (RPUP) ticket, Paynesville, Oscars Sippi, has bragged that there is no match for him in the community’s up-coming. Sippi is the current Chairman of Reservoir community.
Speaking to newsmen over the weekend, Sippi said, since he took over as Chairman of the community, things have been under control—minimizing the high criminal rate and maintaining law and order.
He said his idea of leadership is to advocate for development and not for money, and disclosed that a plan is underway to build a palava hut, clinic, public toilet and hand pump in the community.
One of the community’s elders, Alphanso Tamba, said Sippi does not have problem and is a down-to-earth person; as such, they will stand by him to win the election.
According to Sippi, his platform is based on five pillars: accountability, transparency, women empowerment, youth development and security. “The community’s people told me to contest to bring more development,” Sippi stated.
