The Sahaaba’s Institute for English and Arabic Studies, Plank Field, Supermarket Community, Japan Freeway, had its first graduation program recently with its first batch of 22 graduates coming out of the walls of the school with flying colors, having sat the 2025 West African examinations.

Sahaaba’s Institute for English and Arabic Studies explained that its dynamic principal, Imam Isiaka A. Sumaworo, opened its doors in the educational sector of the country in 2020, about five years ago, with the objective of molding the minds of its student populace.

In his special message delivered at the closing and graduation program, where at least 22 students graduated, Imam Isiaka A. Sumaworo had this to say: “Today is a historic day that will be etched in the annals of Liberia’s educational sector.”

The principal gave special commendation to the first batch of students for graduating after their splendid and outstanding success/performances in the 2025 West African Examination amongst scores of students from other schools across the nation who sat the exams.

Principal Sumaworo, also Secretary General of the Sahaaba’s Magazine, said that he has no doubt that the day is one of joy and happiness for the graduates, the joy of graduating from the easiest educational stages in their pursuit of quality education, as offered by the school.

“So, my dear ones, you must have sincere, strong resolve and high morale for the up-coming stages. It is a more complex stage than the one from which you are graduating,” he urged the graduates.

Principal Sumaworo then called on the graduates to increase their diligence and work hard with perseverance in seeking more knowledge and learning, underscoring that knowledge is sought from the cradle to the grave.

“My dear friends, you have graduated from high school to serve your religion (Islam), your country, and the local and global community. Be among the best graduates, embodying knowledge in belief, speech, and action,” Imam Isiaka A. Sumaworo entreated the graduates.

Imam Isiaka A. Sumaworo then urged the graduates to carry the concern of their religion and Liberia, far removed from all corruption and destruction. He told the graduates that they are the first pioneers in the history of the Sahaaba’s Institute for English and Arabic Studies in Liberia.

Meanwhile, Imam Isiaka A. Sumaworo hailed the President of Liberia, Joseph Nyumah Boakai, Sr., through the Ministry of Education for government support to the educational system of the Republic of Liberia, especially to Islamic institutions contributing towards molding the minds of Liberian students in the country.
