Several Clubs Smile Ahead of New Season
—As New Electric Energy Vehicle Makes Milestone Contribution
Amid the struggling economy that continues to adversely affect the performance of Liberian clubs, the management of New Electric Energy Vehicle (NEEV) has reached out to 11 football clubs in the country.
The beneficiary clubs were drawn from different categories and divisions of Liberian football, to include third, second and first, as well as female soccer.
As part of its immense contribution, the Liberian-owned company, which is operated by Liberia Football Association (LFA) presidential hopeful, Cassell Kuoh, provided US$2,500 to each of the 11 clubs.
The benefiting clubs are Real Muja Football Club, Shaita Football Club, Komah Nimba Kwado FC, Margibi FC, Jubilee FC, Shaita Angels FC, Sinoe NPA Anchors FC, Senior Female Professional FC, Stages Queens FC, Cece United Football Academy and Heaven Eleven FC.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony on Monday, July 15, 2024 in Monrovia, NEEV Liberia General Manager, Molley V. Paasewe, stated that the gesture is intended to enhance the teams’ participation in the upcoming 2024/2025 Liberia Football Association (LFA) National League.
“Today we are here to make some contributions towards the development of sports in this country, and this is in fulfillment of our CEO’s commitment, Mr. Cassell Kuoh. In so doing, we are gathered here today to make history as we present the check of US$2,500 each to 11 clubs,” said GM Passawe.
“This initiative is intended to enhance your participation in the upcoming 2024/2025 Liberia Football Association National League. We can rest assure you that there are more to come. And as we move on, more clubs will benefit from these kinds of gesture,” he added.
New Electric Energy Vehicle (NEEV) is an e-mobility startup in Liberia. NEEV aims to revolutionize the transport sector by introducing electric and more energy-efficient vehicles to address climate change, reduce emission, and promote sustainable mobility and economic growth.
