The Six-Pack Fitness and Athletic Club on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 identified with the Muslim community in Clara Town, donating several food items for use during the last days of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Items donated include several bags of 25kg rice, Argo oil, creamy wheat, etc.

Making the presentation on behalf of the organization to Masjid Bilal, Alhaji Faborie Kromah said their group had come to identify with the Muslim community in order that they, too, may benefit from the blessings of the Ramadan. Kromah urged the leaders of the mosque to remember them in their prayers, as well as pray for Liberia for peace to reign.

The Imam of the mosque accepted the donation on behalf of the Muslims and thanked the group for bringing relief to them, especially during the last ten days of the Ramadan when Muslims spend the nights at various mosques praying. The Imam invoked Allah’s blessing upon the group and assured them that the items will be used for the intended purpose.

Six-Pack Fitness and Athletic Club was established four years ago, and is headed by Abdullah Swaray. It conducts fitness and athletic trainings during evening hours on Benson Street hill. It has impacted many youths through fitness trainings, guidance and counseling.

Swaray has meanwhile used the occasion to call on Liberian youth to exercise regularly for their health and mental wellbeing. He said the Six-Pack Fitness and Athletic Club is open to anyone interested in keeping their body fit and healthy.
