The remains of an unidentified child has been found in the Chugbor community, Old Road, Sinkor, and the residents are calling on anyone who knows the parents of the child to find every way possible to come for the remains of the child and give him a befitting burial.
The remains of the child was first seen by community dwellers who were on their way from a night party on January 22, 2021 at 11:00 p.m. Many mothers and community dwellers have been contacted to identify the remains of the child, but to no avail.
There were multiple bruises seen on the remains, and observers are allegeging that the child might have been killed for ritualistic reasons. This death brings to two mysterious deaths of innocent children in two months.
It can be recalled that another child, later identified as Joseph Kollie, was killed on December 13, 2020 in Morris Farm community. Kollie’s neck was broken and cut, with his tongue, penis, kidney and other major body parts extracted.
Kollie’s father was accused for having a hand in his son’s death, and was arrested by the Liberia National Police (LNP). However, he was later freed for reasons known only to the LNP, as nothing has been said or done about the child’s death.
