4Life Zoe Technical Training Program, one of Liberia’s fastest growing and leading vocational training schools, will in the first week of March embark on a two-day intensive practical mobile training for rural dwellers.

Speaking with the school’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Francis Varney, over the weekend at his school office inside Peace Island, Jacob Town, noted that the mobile training was designed to address some of the challenges confronting rural dwellers in Liberia, mainly when it comes to the issue of capacity building.

According to him, the two-day intensive practical mobile training will focus only on satellite dish installation, Solar light installation and Biodigester construction.

When questioned about the amount of days intended for the training, he responded as saying that he learned his in a foreign country just for three hours. “Two days is enough to learn these things,” he added.
The training will be done in the six following counties: Grand Bassa, Bomi, Margibi, Bong, Nimba, and Maryland.

Still on training at 4Life Zoe Technical Training Program, CEO Varney stated that the school is expected to also provide free training at the Monsterrado Correction Bureau.

The school’s objective, he noted, is for those serving their time in jail to have the opportunity to acquire vocational skills. According to him, after such training the school will provide packages for the trainees in their varied areas of disciplines.
