The plenary of the House of Representatives has accepted Broh’s apology to them—forgiving her for not appearing on Tuesday, but with the condition that she appear at a later time.

Broh was invited by the plenary of the House of Representatives through a communication by Representative Solomon C. George, noting that Broh violated the rights of the people and citizens of Liberia, as well as destroyed their goods and properties.

Broh was appointed recently by the City Mayor of Monrovia, Jefferson Koji, as head of the Citizens Engagement Board to clean Monrovia and its surroundings.

Speaking in session on Thursday, December 9, 2021, members of the Citizens Engagement Board, along with Mayor Koji, on behalf of Broh, pleaded with plenary of the House of Representatives. They apologized to the plenary for Broh not appearing on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, stating that her action of not appearing was something beyond her control.

Giving conditions for accepting Broh’s apology, the plenary of the House of Representatives, through Montserrado County’s district #8 Representative and House’s Chair on Executive, Acarous Gray, demanded that Broh submits her medical records to substantiate her claim that she was actually sick, and that after her treatment she must appear and show cause why she should not be held in contempt.
