The Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Cllr. Cooper W. Kruah Sr., has restored smiles to the faces of employees of the ministry who have suffered for a few years due to the breakdown of the ministry’s only bus.

The bus has been used for a number of years during the Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf administration, and was the only transportation bus on the ground when Minister Kruah took over the ministry.

According to report, many employees who are earning little salary has been murmuring about the transportation cost of coming to work daily, especially those living in the Paynesville, Bushrod Island, and Barnesville communities.

However, Ministry Kruah and his principal Deputy, Cllr Edward K. Goba, have renewed the hope of some employees who have been affected for the past two years.

Meanwhile, the ministry over the weekend certificated over 20 employees for good standing and excellent performance over the years. The Kruah administration has made it a tradition of acknowledging employee’s efforts, especially those that work diligently to ensure the ministry meets its goal at the end of each day.

During the short certification program, Minister Kruah encouraged employees to take their job seriously, and remind them about their tireless efforts that are helping to move the ministry forward.

“I want you to know that most of the programs and successful stories about this ministry were done all because of your participation,” he added.
