The just-ended training lasted for a whole week and was very intensive.

Speaking over the weekend at the graduation ceremony in Bong County at the regional training hub, LIS Deputy Commissioner General for Administration, Moses K. Yebleh, applauded the UNDP for always providing the support towards the growth and development of the LIS. The LIS Deputy Commission General noted that the support from UNDP has already been timely.

Also speaking at the graduation occasion, Cllr. Asatu Bah- Kenneth also expressed appreciation to the UNDP for being the government’s developmental counterpart. She expressed the LIS leadership commitment to addressing challenges confronting the wellbeing of the institution.

For his part, Cllr. James Monibah, who represented the United Development Program (UNDP), expressed his institution’s commitment to providing more support to the LIS.

The graduation ceremony was well attended by senior officers of the LIS and relatives of the graduates.
