The administration of Ricks Institute has officially written and published a letter of apology to the government, through the Ministry of Education, for holding graduation before the release of the WAEC results in 2020/2021 academic year.

In their letter of apology, the Education Commission of the Liberia Baptist Missionary and Educational Convention extended kind greetings to the Minister of Education, D. Ansu Sonii, and officially apologized on behalf of Ricks Institute for the wrongdoing, assuring their fullest cooperation from now onward.

“The convention has already put into place practical reforms by establishing a functioning Education Commission/Secretariat. Additionally, it has appointed a new Board of Trustees, which has appointed a new administration for Ricks Institute.

“In conclusion, Hon. Minister, we pledge our commitment to unwaveringly adhere to all the policies of the Ministry of Education,” Ricks Institute’s apology letter read in part.
