Red Cross Donation Box Introduced At Farmington Hotel
The management of Farmington Hotel has introduced a new service at their facility that gears toward helping the less fortunate and contributing to their wellbeing through the Liberia National Red Cross Society.
On March 29, 2022, the hotel’s management provided a space for the Liberia National Red Cross Society to place a donation box, in order for well-meaning Liberians and foreign nationals visiting the facility to have the opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of the neediest of the Liberian society.
The Liberia National Red Cross Society (LNRCS) is a voluntary humanitarian organization that delivers services to the most vulnerable in emergency, including disasters, conflict, civil strife, ill-health and contextual social issues.
In a press release issued Monday, April 18, 2022, the Farmington Hotel’s management acknowledged the importance of the humanitarian venture, and jumpstarted the initiative with an appreciable amount.
According to the release, the Farmington Hotel’s management provision of the space for the donation box is a part of their social corporate contribution to the people of Liberia, which is geared toward alleviating economic hardship in the country.
“The gesture of placing the donation box at the hotel’s facility will go a long way in contributing to the need of the less fortunate and most vulnerable of the Liberian society,” the release noted.
