Former Grand Bassa County’s electoral district #5 Representative, Robertson N. Siaway Sr., has resigned from the United People Party (UPP).
According to the UPP former executive member, his resignation is predicated upon circumstances beyond his control.
Former Representative Siaway has been with the UPP for over 12 years as an executive member of the party.
During his stay at the UPP, he was very supportive of the workings of the party, but according to information gathered the party seems divided as to whom the party supports in the pending elections. His resignation was done recently.
When asked about which political party he intends to join, the former Representative and current aspirant of district#5 did not responded but noted that he remains a peaceful citizen of the country and will think about it later.
The United People Party (UPP) is one of the oldest political parties in the country.
