The Federation of African Law Students (FALAS) has disclosed that seven new African countries have taken up FALAS membership, noting that this is a result of robust efforts made by the leadership of FALAS, led by the International President, His Excellency Siaffa Bahn KEMOKAI, II, in augmenting the existing network of African law students across the continent.

In a release issued recently, the Federation of African Law Students said the achievement further demonstrates FALAS’s commitment to stimulating the continental legal community in enhancing exposure and knowledge, committed to developing the continent through connecting ideas, persons and resources.

“The followings are the latest countries that have signed up to the charter for membership: Namibia, Angola, Mali, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Togo and Rwanda. These countries have seen the level of determination and resilience that FALAS brings to unifying the African voice through this network of students; therefore, they have resolved to join the process,” the release stated.

“The Federation is grateful for this stunt and look forward to working more in ensuring that the entire Africa is on board,” the release continued.
