Several teachers form the Soltiamon Christian School System have received outstanding awards in varied categories. The award ceremony was held at the school’s headquarters in Sinkor, Monrovia.

Speaking during the award ceremony, the Special Assistant to the office of the Superintendent of the school, Rev. Soltiamon Joah, Jr., noted that the award ceremony was meant to serve as motivation to teachers of the Soltiamon Christian School System in Liberia and Sierra Leone.

The award ceremony was placed in several categories, ranging from leadership award, initiative award, long service and excellent award to best teachers of the academic year 2022—2023 award, retirement, among others, and took place during the evening hours at the school’s headquarters on 19th Street, Sinkor, Monrovia. Du-Port Road Soltiamon Christian School System branch received the best campus award. There was a reshuffle in various positions of the school, as announced by master of ceremony, Solomon G. David.

The colorful event was marked by a grand march, followed by musical interlude, call to buffet, award message and statements from the school’s Superintendent, among others. Joah Jr, who served as the award speaker, encouraged teachers to be the best in the discharge of their duties. He also challenged teachers whose names were not called to perform well so next time they, too, can be selected.

According to him, the selection process was based on teachers’ performance over the years as determined by the vetting committee. Joah Jr. stated that the entire process was designed to encourage teachers to do more at their various areas of assignment.

The award ceremony was well attended by teachers of Soltiamon Christian School System, administrators and guests.

Soltiamon Christian School System was established in the early 1980s and has branches in Liberia and Sierra Leone respectively. The school is one of Liberia’s leading schools when it comes to quality education and discipline.
