O’Nance International Christian School, 72nd intersection, S.K.D Boulevard, Paynesville, has graduated its 9th graduating class, with three of the graduates emerging division one in West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and fourteen of the 9th graders emerging division one.

Providing the school’s annual performance report, Anthony T. Bulak told audience at the program that during the period under review at O’ Nance International Christian School, particularly for WASSCE students, three senior students came at division one, at grade nine fourteen students came at division one level.

This aspect of the graduation ceremony was marked with recognition and awards by the school’s administration. The students who performed well   walked out with certificates of honor for their performance in WASSCE and WAEC.

Students were also certificated for the role they played during their stay at O’ Nance International Christian School. This year’s graduating class’ valedictorian was a female student, Fajora Gboyah, of the senior class.

For her part, Nyanda Josephine Biaty Duworko, who served as the 9th graduation commencement speaker, promised to work with school owners in addressing some challenges confronting the wellbeing of students and schools in Liberia.

She noted that her desire as a Liberian is to see Liberian students performing well like their colleagues in the sub-region. She spoke on the importance of knowledge.

The keynote speaker spoke on a wide range of issues confronting the Liberian society, but ended up by calling for a collective approach to ending societal ills.

For his part, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rev. Aaron J. Wheagar, informed the audience that his school will this year provide technical college education to the public.

According to him, the technical college was designed to provide solutions to those walking out of the wall of High schools in Liberia.

The school already provides vocational skills to the public and students of the school as well.

The just-ended colorful graduation ceremony was made possible through the hardworking Principal, Pastor Timothy G. Garmondeh, and his team of workers.
