The Liberia Diplomatic Think Tank (LiDTT) has called on every actor involved with the on-going transitional process to adhere to best practices regarding the smooth turnover of power from the current administration to the in-coming administration; Cynthia Quinisier reports.

According to a press statement, the Liberia Diplomatic Think Tank urged everyone to work together in the spirit of patriotism for the forward march of the nation, regardless of political, socio-economic, tribal and religious affiliation.

The Liberia Diplomatic Think Tank encouraged the in-coming government to focus on rebranding Liberia’s diplomatic image by assembling the most qualified and experienced minds to the foreign service, strengthening the trust and confidence of international partners and investors.

Hilary K.D. Gbegeah, Chairperson of the Liberia Diplomatic Think Tank, signed the press releaase.

The press release said that LiDTT is open to engagements with the in-coming administration and development partners in support of the Liberian foreign service and emerging diplomats, with integrity-driven characters.

“We will specifically work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant institutions to identify the new generation of Liberian diplomats with integrity-driven characters, sense of civic leadership and commitment to promoting Liberia’s foreign policy,” the release stated.
