The Minister of Education, Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah, has emphasized the vital role of education in national transformation. Inspiring 707 graduates of Cuttington University on Saturday, June 21, 2025, Minister Jallah urged them to lead with excellence, integrity and innovation.

Serving as guest speaker at the 63rd Commencement Convocation of Cuttington University on Saturday, Minister Jallah challenged the graduates to become agents of positive change, entrepreneurial thinkers, and committed public servants.

“Let excellence, integrity, and service be your guiding principles,” Minister Jallah urged. “Be bold in action, generous in spirit, and collaborative in purpose. Use your education as a force for good—to solve problems, uplift your communities, and contribute to Liberia’s sustainable development.”

The convocation ceremony marked a historic academic achievement for the university, as it conferred degrees upon students from its three campuses: Suakoko, Monrovia, and Kakata. The Suakoko campus produced the largest cohort, with 254 graduates earning degrees across disciplines including agriculture and sustainable development (15), business and public administration (42), and health sciences (93).

Dr. Romelle A. Horton, President of Cuttington University, congratulated the Class of 2025 and praised their perseverance and academic accomplishments. She reaffirmed the university’s continued commitment to developing ethical and competent leaders who will meaningfully contribute to Liberia’s advancement.

“You are well prepared to lead, serve, and drive meaningful progress,” Dr. Horton stated. “Let the knowledge you’ve gained serve as a catalyst for building a stronger, more resilient nation.”
