The Chairman of the Center for the Exchange of Intellectual Opinions (CEIO), Mohammed A. Dukuly, over the weekend gave his first quarter activity, programmatic and financial report to members of CEIO and its partners.
According to Chairman Dukuly, the report is intended to offer a clear and transparent overview of CEIO’s core programs, collaborative engagements, organizational development and fiscal stewardship.
Chairman Dukuly disclosed that the reporting period represents a defining chapter in CEIO’s institutional evolution, marked by strengthened governance frameworks, expanded and impactful programming as well as purposeful collaboration with both national and international partners committed to youth empowerment, skills development including inclusive social transformation.
He pointed out that, through well targeted interventions in education, digital literacy, vocational training, policy dialogue and public awareness, CEIO has continued to translate ideas into action and partnerships into measurable and sustainable impact.
“This report stands as a testament to CEIO’s unwavering dedication to accountability, results-oriented implementation and responsible stewardship of resources entrusted by its partners and stakeholders” He stressed.
Chairman Dukuly revealed that in August 2025 CEIO received critical institutional support from UN Women for the installation of a solar power system at its facility, and in September 2025 UN Women completed the full delivery of essential institutional furnishing and equipment to CEIO, which were forty tables, forty chairs, three standing fans, storage cabinet, bookshelf, bulletin board and curtain.
He indicated that in October 2025 CEIO achieved a major institutional milestone with the installation of dedicated internet services for the first time since its establishment, which has strengthened CEIO’s research capacity, facilitated digital learning, improved documentation and enhanced access to information.
He explained that, in line with its commitment to youth empowerment and skills development, sixty-six members were successfully enrolled into various technical and vocational education and training institutions, including conducting a two-day digital literacy training workshop to strengthen participants’ digital competencies, raise awareness on online safety, among others.
Chairman Dukuly stated that CEIO formally entered into a strategic partnership agreement with the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) to implement a nationwide anti-drug awareness campaign.
According to him, in November 2025 CEIO in collaboration with the Mano River Youth Parliament, successfully convened a high-level youth dialogue aimed at amplifying youth voices in national and regional development processes.
He maintained that during the period under review CEIO recorded a total income of seven thousand five hundred United States Dollars+ (US$7,500.00) and one hundred fifty thousand Liberian dollars (L$150,000.00).
He said these resources were carefully managed and strategically deployed to sustain operations, support priority programs and strengthen institutional stability.
Chairman Dukuly explained that CEIO’s expenditures in United States dollars were directed toward core operational needs and programmatic interventions essential to the effective delivery of its mandate.
He indicated that administrative cost of CEIO’s day-to-day operations amount to US$1,800.00, scholarship support for members, US$2,000.00, CEIO TV operational cost, US$250.00, Public Wi-Fi operational cost, US$800.00, property rental payment of rent up to December 2026, US$1,200.00, which total expenditure is US$5,650.00, while the Liberian dollar expenditures focused primarily on personnel and operational support at the community level, which includes the compensation of staff, members and maintenance, amounting to L$100,000.00. He asserted that the remaining balances were fully accounted for and deposited into CEIO’s official bank accounts, in line with sound financial management practices.
