The Chief Justice of the Republic of Liberia, Yamie Quiqui Gbeisay Sr., has honored several employees of the Judiciary for their outstanding performance over the years.

The ceremony was held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Temple of Justice in Monrovia.

The honoring program, held under the Gbeisay bench, is the first of its kind for over fifteen years, according to the Court Administrator, Cllr. William B. Kollie Sr.

During the ceremony, Chief Justice Gbeisay told the audience that they had gathered to recognize, appreciate, and honor these patriotic, hardworking individuals for being results-oriented personalities. “You showed a splendid performance in your tasks to the best of your abilities.”

The Chief Justice explained further, “In other words, your bosses, colleagues, and the public in general have attested to your abilities, commitment, and dedication to duty; that is to say, you report to work daily, you report to work on time, leave work on time, perform your tasks, and above all, perform others’ tasks when they are not available.”

He continued, “Astute honorees, you have been observed and time-tested to be disciplined, good-mannered, ethical, and above all, dutiful and respectful.”

Speaking further to the honorees, he reminded them that their contributions have not gone unnoticed, and the Supreme Court is honored to have them as part of the legal community in Liberia.

“As a support staff, you have made history. Thousands have worked, and continue to work, in the judiciary, but you have been selected first by God and the leadership of the Judiciary to give you your flower while alive for your commitment and dedication to the service of our country and your passion for your job,” among other things, he added.
