–As AUWTI And AUTC Sign MOU For Investment In Tourism And Youth Empowerment
International Coach Ali, a USA-born youth empowerment leader and Executive Director of “Are U Wasting Time? International”, has officially announced the launch of “Roots And Rise Liberia: Return. Reconnect. Rebuild.”, a bold motherland relationship program designed to strengthen the connection between Liberia and the United States through tourism, youth empowerment, cultural unity, digital education, and purposeful international collaboration.
This historic initiative is made possible through an epic 2026 partnership between “Are U Wasting Time? International”, US, and the African Union Trading Company, Liberia, led by Liberian community leader and founder, Eric Twum.
Roots And Rise Liberia is more than a program; it is a movement of reconnection, restoration, and visible action. It serves as a living bridge between the diaspora and the motherland, calling people to return with purpose, reconnect with heritage, and rebuild through service, storytelling, investment, youth development, cultural exchange, and global relationship building.
As part of this major international vision, International Coach Ali is also launching the “Are U Wasting Time? International” Virtual Academy, an empowering educational initiative focused on Digital Literacy and Professional Broadcasting Training. The academy will provide instruction and exposure in Podcast and TV content development, basic storytelling, film making, and music recording, helping young people build real world communication, media, and production skills for the future.
This expansion reflects a larger mission to equip youth not only with inspiration, but with modern tools, technical confidence, and global creative capacity. Through this academy, students will be introduced to pathways that strengthen voice, vision, self-expression, media readiness, and career focused digital development. In addition to its educational and tourism mission, the initiative will also help launch annual Olympic Styled College Recruitment Basketball Showcase Championships for male and female middle school and high school players globally. These powerful events will combine competition, international visibility, youth empowerment, and college recruitment opportunity on one world stage. Beginning in 2027, the official annual event will be known as The Global Goodwill Games.
The Global Goodwill Games will stand as a signature international platform where athletics, education, culture, leadership, and opportunity meet. Designed to attract student athletes, communities, recruiters, supporters, and global stakeholders, the event will showcase rising talent while creating meaningful international bridges rooted in empowerment and excellence. Through this alliance, Liberia will be elevated as a nation rich in beauty, strength, resilience, history, hospitality, talent, and global potential. The partnership will spotlight the country as a destination for tourism, cultural reconnection, community engagement, youth training, and international opportunity. International Coach Ali has long championed youth empowerment through education, athletics, literacy, leadership, digital media, and global exposure. With Roots And Rise Liberia, that work now expands into a historic international model grounded in unity, purpose, skill building, and nation building.
“This is not ordinary travel. This is not ordinary partnership. This is purposeful international alignment built to inspire lives, strengthen cultural ties, elevate Liberia’s image, train youth for the future, and create lasting impact through tourism, digital literacy, broadcasting, music, film, and global sports exposure,” said International Coach Ali. “This is strengthened on the ground by Eric Twum of the African Union Trading Company, with the initiative sending a clear message to the world: Liberia is rising. The Diaspora connection is real. The purpose is global. The time is now.”
