Victims Of Niko Ivanka Boat Wreck Laid To Rest
The remains of the victims of the July 17, 2021 Niko Invaka boat wreck have been simultaneously laid to rest at the Johnsonville and Nimba United cemeteries. The events took place on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Those laid to rest were five (5) staffs of WAEC: Morris B. Kellen, Johnson Wuelleh, Arkaseh Solo, Masse M. J. Kollie and Stephen Mollie.
Also laid to rest was the remains of CPL Abraham T. Joe, Liberia National Police (LNP), who served as security escort for the WAEC exams. These patriotic citizens met their tragic death while en route to the southeastern counties aboard the Niko Ivanka to administer the WAEC examinations to students in that part of the country.
The funeral service was held at the Chapel of the St. Moses Funeral Parlors from 9:00 a.m.—12:00 noon, and interment followed at the Johnsonville and Nimba United cemeteries.
